Dr. Emily Kidd White Joins the OLPP

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Emily Kidd White, previously a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Osgoode’s Jack and Mae Nathanson Centre on Transnational Human Rights, Crime and Security, has been appointed to full time faculty at Osgoode Hall’s Law School, effective July 1st, 2018.

Dr. Kidd White completed her doctoral studies at New York University School of Law under the supervision of Dr. Jeremy Waldron as both a Trudeau Foundation Scholar as well as a 2016 IIAS Human Dignity Fellow. Professor White has previously served as the Assistant Editor of the European Journal of International Law, and held Research Fellowship and Teaching Assistant positions at the Jean Monnet Center for Regional and International Economic Law and Justice, and the Institute for International Law and Justice. Professor White writes on emotions in legal reasoning, and will be teaching Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, and Public International Law.
